RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITIES:

* Assistance with the application for licensure: Adult Residential Care Facility (Mentally Impaired, Developmentally Disabled), Residential Care Facilty for theElderly, Group and Family Homes, Residential Care Facility for the Chronically- Ill, Adult and Senior Day Care Center;

* On-site evaluation and in-service training prior to annual evaluator inspection;

* Preparation of customized Facility Policies and Procedures manual;

* Assistance with Appeal Procedures;

* Representation in Informal Hearings;

* License violation plan of corrections;

* Advice and pre-inspection in the sale or transfer of property of a home or an existing facility;

* Response to complaints reported to the Department of Social Services;

* On-site review of the overall facility operation and management in accordance with the Health and Safety Code Regulations: Title 22 and Title 17;

* Training and review of Documentation requirements;

* Assistance with facility upgrade and specialization of services; and

* Assistance with Program Proposals to obtain a Vendor License from the Regional Center (Levels 1 thru 4).

* 40 Hour R.C.F.E. Initial Administrator Certification Program. See RCFE classes.
* 40 Hour RCFE Continuing Education Recertification Program. See RCFE classes.
* HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis Training Program.

INTERMEDIATE CARE FACILITY:

* Development of Program Design to obtain Intermediate Care Facility: Developmentally Disabled Habilitative or Nursing;

* Physical plant review and set-up for the Initial I.C.F.Licensure;

* Available as Human Resource, Quality Assurance or Educational Consultants;

* Conversion of Child or Adult Residential Care Home into an
Intermediate Care Facility: D.D.H. or D.D.N.;

* Assistance with the implementation of the Active Treatment Program;

* Development of plans of corrections to maintain Certification standards
and compliance with the Health and Safety Code Regulations, Title 22 and
H.C.F.A. Guidelines;

* Assistance with the implementation of the plans ofcorrections;

* On-site In-Service Training for Direct Care Staff;and

* Development of the Facility Policies and Procedures Manual.
