JMPM Consultancy is available to provide individuals with the
necessary assistance, training and knowledge to operate a successful
board & care home ( also known as "Assisted Living, Elderly
Care Home, Retirement Home, Home Care, Elderly Living, Board &
Care, etc.) or Intermediate Care Facility (Developmentally Disabled
Habilitative/Nursing).
JMPM was conceptualized to assist potential applicants and
current licensees to adequately achieve compliance with Health
and Safety Code Regulations: Title 22, Title 17 and Health Care
Facility Administration Guidelines. It was formed as a joint
venture by a husband and wife team experienced in the fields of:
Mental Health Education, Health Care, Gerontology and Developmental
Disabilities.
Jim Morris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social
Welfare from the California State University, Los Angeles. His
expertise in the Mental Health field included ten years of experience
as Director of Social Services and Consultant. He holds
a Community College Instructor Credential for the State of California.
Lelet Morris pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree and completed
a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education. She currently
holds an Adult Education and Community College Instructor Credentials.
Her professional experience involved working as an Instructor
and Consultant.
JMPM is an approved vendor by the Department of Social Services,
Community Care Licensing Division for the State of California,
conducting the Initial 40 Hour Residential Care Facilities for
the Elderly Administrator Certification Program and Continuing
(Administrator C.E.U.) Education classes. Furthermore, JMPM is
recognized and approved by the Department of Developmental Services,
as Quality Assurance And Educational Consultants to various Intermediate
Care Facilities for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
JMPM offers a wide range of extensive services in the following
areas, but are not limited to:
a.) 40 Hours R.C.F.E. Initial Administrator and Continuing Education
Certification Program (Vendor No. 100003),
b.) Intermediate Care Facility (D.D.H. or D.D.N.) Program Development
and Design, Maintenance of Certification standards,
c.) Consultancy Services: Assistance with the initial application
for board and care licensure, etc.
